Deputy Secretary of CPC Shanghai Committee Li Xi: Official Tour to Tongji and the School
On December 11, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal CPC Committee Li Xi had an official tour to the School of Ocean and Earth Science. Accompanied by Zhou Zuyi, Secretary of the CPC Committee at Tongji University, Li Xi learnt about the achievements ocean sciences of Tongji has made, current progress of the construction of Shanghai Marine Technology Center and the East China Sea Seafloor Observatory, and the proposal the School has jointly submitted to relevant state departments for the construction of the country’s long-term seafloor scientific observatory system. The delegation also visited some labs of the State Key Laboratory of Marine Geology.
