Student Team Won National College Student Competition of Exploration Geophysics

Ms. GONG Zijing and Ms. FU Geping, graduate students of the School of Ocean and Earth Science, Tongji University, recently honored the School with a second award in the final round of The National College Student Competition of Exploration Geophysics, which was held in Zhuozhou, Hebei Province from Oct. 22 to 27, 2013.

This competition is jointly organized by Chinese Society of Exploration Geophysicists (or SEG), Chinese Petroleum Society, BGP INC. of China National Petroleum Corporation and China University of Petroleum (Beijing), and 145 teams or 285 contestants from the country’s 13 petroleum institutions participated in this event, which provided a very good platform for improving students’ expertise and practical abilities in exploration geophysics.
