E-Books of AGU, SEG and Elsevier Available at University’s Library
AGU, or The American Geophysical Union, publishes 19 highly respected, peer-reviewed scientific journals covering research in the Earth and space sciences; a member newspaper, Eos; and award-winning books. AGU publishing began with the Journal of Geophysical Research in 1896. Overall, AGU publishes more than 5000 original research and review articles each year. Publications include both Open Access and subscription (Gold OA) journals. Currently, Tongji University has introduced 17 AGU journal bundles and AGU EOS, and the School of Ocean and Earth Science bought in AGU Backfile. Access at http://publications.agu.org/
SEG, or The Society of Exploration Geophysicists is a not-for-profit organization that promotes the science of applied geophysics and the education of geophysicists. SEG Digital Library contains the complete journal and proceedings archives published in 1959 to 2012 including the famous Encyclopedic Dictionary of Applied Geophysics: 4th edition. Also complete publications of the Environmental and Engineering Geophysical Society (EEGS, a non-profit organization established in 1992 featuring the promotion of geophysics) have been added to the SEG Digital Library. The School has now provided access to SEG Digital Library at http://library.seg.org/.
