2013 Graduation Ceremony Held

On June 25^th, 2013, the School of Ocean and Earth Science held its 2013 graduation ceremony in the school’s lecture hall. Dean of the school Prof. JIAN Zhimin, Vice Dean Prof. YU Peng, Deputy Secretary of the school’s Party Committee Ms. LIN Mei, Branch Secretary of Youth League Committee Ms. YUAN Yuan, deputies of parents and graduates attend this grand ceremony. 

With the majestic national anthem, the ceremony commenced. Prof. Jian congratulated all the graduates on successful completion of their studies, encouraging them to bear their own goals to work at their utmost for the country’s marine cause. Graduates were awarded diploma certificates, and those most excellent were also conferred honorary certificates. Two representatives of these graduates also gave speeches promising to make continuous efforts in their future jobs.

During the ceremony, students also talked online with their class teacher Dr. JI Fuwu, now having mid-career studies in the U.S., who sent them his best wishes.
