Party Secretary of CAST Visited Academician Pinxian WANG

On Jan. 20^th, 2013, Secretary of the Party Leading Group and Executive Vice President of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) Mr. Xi CHEN paid a special trip to visit Academician Pinxian WANG and the State Key Laboratory of Marine Geology. Mr. Chen expressed his sincere gratitude towards Prof. Wang for his great contributions to ocean sciences in a vast range of research fields such as seafloor observatory, and highly appreciated the rapid development of Tongji’s ocean sciences and its achievements. Party Committee Secretary of Tongji University Mr. Zuyi ZHOU, Secretary of the Party Leading Group and Vice President of Shanghai Association for Science and Technology Mr. Zhenquan CAO as well as other staffs also joined this meeting.
